This world is full of Lies

Image
We live in a world where lies often hide behind beautiful smiles. It’s heartbreaking, yet real: deception has become a common language in many homes, relationships, jobs, and even friendships. But, we still have a choice to live truthfully, to be trustworthy, and to become the kind of people the world desperately needs. Take a marriage, for example. A husband may lie to her wife, not because he doesn't love her but to be more respected. He may make promises he knows he can’t fulfil, just to maintain her belief in him. He may smile and say, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this,” while deep inside, he’s drowning. Instead of being honest, he covers the cracks with stories. Not because he doesn't love her, but because he fears the truth might disappoint her. But even gentle lies don’t build trust. They silently destroy it. What a relationship truly needs is honesty, even when it’s uncomfortable. A partner who says, “I don’t have everything figured out, but I’m trying,” is worth far more th...

A Motivation Journey

Image
Sometimes, the most powerful life lessons don’t come from classrooms or conferences. They come quietly, unexpectedly from people we never knew we needed. One of those moments happened to me on a simple bus ride from Kigali to Musanze. I used to design my life when I was young, I dreamed of becoming the best author or writer because I liked writing more than expressing words by mouth. As I grew up, I started forgetting what I had planned and dreamed of when I was young.   I once travelled from kigali to Musanze I sat with someone in the bus, He started talking to me as if he wanted to know much about me, he started telling me about how what you like or what you know can push you far, He told me to never give up in life, He shared with me his testimony saying that <Now I have reached my goals due to what I liked most>not because there was no circumstances but because I didn't gave up in life. He continued saying that, he tried to fail but he didn't fail to try. He reminded...

From Fear to Faith

Image
Once upon a time, I met some days of sadness. I felt weak, unhappy, and hopeless, and I realised that I was depressed. I tried to search everywhere I could feel happy and comfortable and feel Hope again, but I didn't find that immediately. Normally, we fear the strange things, but that time when I was in sorrow, I started realising that we walk with fears of losing people, money, and many others. We are dealing with and struggling with the problems of fear of rejection, depression, and addiction, which leads to thinking about unnecessary things, feeling lonely without knowing that we are full of FEAR(S). How do you handle moments of sorrow and sadness? Let me tell you this, God is the only solution. Apart from being there with your loved ones who may make you feel happy and enjoy life, No one can heal your unseen wounds or scars that no one sees. The only solution to get well, happy again, lovely, and grateful is God only. Even when you can not, be able to explain how you're ...

My Happiness Diary

Image
I have a diary, not just any diary but one that speaks to my heart even before I open a single page. It’s soft, pink, and simple. The cover reads:  “Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.” This quote changed me. It taught me something that the world rarely reminds us: that value matters more than success.  Success or Value, What Are We Chasing? For a long time, like many people, I thought being successful was the greatest goal. And in many ways, it is a good goal. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to succeed whether in school, career, or life. But I slowly began to notice something deeper. People may cheer for your success, but they need your value. Being successful can earn you praise, money, and attention. But being valuable makes you needed, respected, remembered, and loved. And that’s what truly fills the heart.  What I Learned from My Happiness Diary Each time I see the quote on the cover, it reminds me to stop measuring my...
