This world is full of Lies

Image
We live in a world where lies often hide behind beautiful smiles. It’s heartbreaking, yet real: deception has become a common language in many homes, relationships, jobs, and even friendships. But, we still have a choice to live truthfully, to be trustworthy, and to become the kind of people the world desperately needs. Take a marriage, for example. A husband may lie to her wife, not because he doesn't love her but to be more respected. He may make promises he knows he can’t fulfil, just to maintain her belief in him. He may smile and say, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this,” while deep inside, he’s drowning. Instead of being honest, he covers the cracks with stories. Not because he doesn't love her, but because he fears the truth might disappoint her. But even gentle lies don’t build trust. They silently destroy it. What a relationship truly needs is honesty, even when it’s uncomfortable. A partner who says, “I don’t have everything figured out, but I’m trying,” is worth far more th...

A Motivation Journey

Image
Sometimes, the most powerful life lessons don’t come from classrooms or conferences. They come quietly, unexpectedly from people we never knew we needed. One of those moments happened to me on a simple bus ride from Kigali to Musanze. I used to design my life when I was young, I dreamed of becoming the best author or writer because I liked writing more than expressing words by mouth. As I grew up, I started forgetting what I had planned and dreamed of when I was young.   I once travelled from kigali to Musanze I sat with someone in the bus, He started talking to me as if he wanted to know much about me, he started telling me about how what you like or what you know can push you far, He told me to never give up in life, He shared with me his testimony saying that <Now I have reached my goals due to what I liked most>not because there was no circumstances but because I didn't gave up in life. He continued saying that, he tried to fail but he didn't fail to try. He reminded...

From Fear to Faith

Image
Once upon a time, I met some days of sadness. I felt weak, unhappy, and hopeless, and I realised that I was depressed. I tried to search everywhere I could feel happy and comfortable and feel Hope again, but I didn't find that immediately. Normally, we fear the strange things, but that time when I was in sorrow, I started realising that we walk with fears of losing people, money, and many others. We are dealing with and struggling with the problems of fear of rejection, depression, and addiction, which leads to thinking about unnecessary things, feeling lonely without knowing that we are full of FEAR(S). How do you handle moments of sorrow and sadness? Let me tell you this, God is the only solution. Apart from being there with your loved ones who may make you feel happy and enjoy life, No one can heal your unseen wounds or scars that no one sees. The only solution to get well, happy again, lovely, and grateful is God only. Even when you can not, be able to explain how you're ...

My Happiness Diary

Image
I have a diary, not just any diary but one that speaks to my heart even before I open a single page. It’s soft, pink, and simple. The cover reads:  “Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.” This quote changed me. It taught me something that the world rarely reminds us: that value matters more than success.  Success or Value, What Are We Chasing? For a long time, like many people, I thought being successful was the greatest goal. And in many ways, it is a good goal. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to succeed whether in school, career, or life. But I slowly began to notice something deeper. People may cheer for your success, but they need your value. Being successful can earn you praise, money, and attention. But being valuable makes you needed, respected, remembered, and loved. And that’s what truly fills the heart.  What I Learned from My Happiness Diary Each time I see the quote on the cover, it reminds me to stop measuring my...

Beyond Limitations

Image
Looking beyond limitations is not just about seeing what's ahead, it's about breaking through the walls that have held you back for too long. It’s not just a dream, it’s a decision. A decision to stretch, to fight, to grow, and to move when everything around you tells you to stay small, to stay stuck, to stay quiet. For so long, maybe you’ve felt like something is standing in the way of your breakthrough fear, failure, rejection, past mistakes, pain, or even comfort. But going beyond limitations means pushing with faith. It means refusing to settle for less when you know God has promised you more. Just like Isaiah 54:2–3 encourages: "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and the left..." This is God telling us that limitation is not our portion. Expansion is. Growth is. Freedom is. But it doesn’t come by waiting it comes by stepping out in fa...

They Need YOU

Image
Every day, we walk with people in the streets, in classrooms, in churches, at home, online, and we assume they are okay, but deep down, so many are not. Some people are smiling, but they're not okay. Some are laughing out loud, but their hearts are quietly breaking. Some walk confidently, yet they carry burdens so heavy that their souls are tired. Behind every face you see today, there is a story. A silent battle, A scar that we don't know, A wound that nobody sees. This world is full of people struggling silently. Struggling with loneliness, depression, rejection, loss, addiction, confusion, and fear. Some are grieving what they never even had. Others are living in homes full of people but feel utterly invisible. Sometimes, people don’t say what they’re going through because they’re afraid of being a burden. So be the kind of person who makes others feel safe to open up. Be the type of human who reminds others that it’s okay not to be okay. And do you know what they need? The...

Don't cry,Look for the Stars

Image
There’s a powerful quote that says, “Never cry when the sun goes down, for if you do, the tears will not let you see the stars.” It sounds simple, yet it holds a truth that many of us overlook during hard times. Life has its dark moments days when everything feels like it’s falling apart, when people leave, plans fail, and dreams are delayed. In those moments, it’s easy to cry, to give up, to lose sight of hope. But here’s the truth: crying might blur your vision. When all you see are your tears, you miss the beauty that still surrounds you the quiet miracles, the hidden stars in the night sky. Sometimes, the “sun” going down in our lives isn’t a punishment; it’s a preparation. Every ending, every goodbye, every closed door happens for a reason. It might hurt now, but it’s part of something greater something you might not understand yet, but someday you will. The night is not meant to scare you it’s meant to show you the stars. Stars that you wouldn’t have noticed if the sun ha...

Finding Joy in Small Things

By Christelle Teta For the longest time, I thought joy lived in abundance. I believed that happiness only came when you had more more money, more achievements, more friends, more attention, more of everything. In my mind, joy was something that showed up when life became “perfect” or when things finally aligned the way I wanted. But as I journeyed through different seasons of life, I started to learn something different. Something deeper. Something more real. I began to notice that the people who seemed the most joyful weren’t necessarily the ones who had the most. Some of them had very little by the world’s standards yet their laughter was pure, their peace unshakable, and their hearts overflowing with light. Meanwhile, there were others who had everything money could buy, yet carried emptiness in their eyes. This made me pause and reflect on my own life. And then one day, it just hit me: Joy doesn’t depend on what I have or what I lack joy depends on how I see life and how grateful I...

A Night to Remember

Image
A Night to Remember God's Goodness Tonight, my heart is full. I find myself sitting quietly, reflecting on all that has happened this week, and I can’t help but whisper, “Thank You, Lord.” This night feels sacred not because of anything I did, but because of the overwhelming presence of God I’ve experienced throughout this week of fellowship. Each day has been a step deeper into His grace, a journey further into His love, and a moment richer in spiritual understanding. I’ve felt the power of the Lord moving in ways I can’t fully explain but I’ve seen it, I’ve lived it, and I can testify that God has been in our midst. This week, as I joined others in fellowship, worship, and prayer, I was reminded that the church is not just a building it’s a body, a family, a place of healing. The unity, the love, the genuine hunger for God I witnessed among us filled me with so much joy and awe. I saw broken hearts find peace. I saw tears of worship streaming down faces as the Spirit of God ...

A letter to My Younger Self

Image
Dear Younger Me, I see you. Sitting quietly in that lonely place, feeling like no one understands. You felt weak. Invisible. Uncertain of your worth. You had no words to inspire others because you barely had the strength to encourage yourself. I remember how you stayed silent when you wanted to speak. How you carried silent battles not because you were strong, but because you thought no one would care. You looked at others and thought they had it all together, while you wondered, “What do I even have to offer?” But here I am now… writing this to you. And I just want to say: You made it. Not because everything became perfect — but because you never gave up. God carried you even when you didn’t feel Him. You didn’t realize it, but He was building strength inside that silence. He was preparing you for this moment. Now, you speak. Now, you encourage. Now, you tell others:  You are valued. You are enough. You are not alone. You are here for a reason. I know you didn’t believe that...
